Thank you so much for your support during our 30 day campaign.  With your help, we raised $14, 778 and will also be getting a $7,000 match from IHCDA for a Grand total of $21,778.  With this amount, we will be able to open our doors with programming, upgrades and as a bonus we will have Heat in the Winter and Air in the Summer.  This ensures that we can CREATE and COLLABORATE all year long!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  A TOWN CENTER, INC. WE HIT OUR GOAL!!! Our stretch goal is $14,000! With YOUR SUPPORT we met our Phase 1 goal and will soon be able to open A Town Center. BUT THERE'S MORE WE CAN DO. If you've visited the space on a warm day, you might have realized it get's a bit toasty inside. Well, to help keep us all from melting during summer's hottest days, we've set a new goal so we can install AIR CONDITIONING! More specifically, we want to raise an additional $7,000 so we can install an HVAC system and so our artists and our visitors (like you!) can stay comfortable in the building all year long.  
Our plan is to host classes and events in the space no matter the temperature outside. And, a new HVAC system will ensure A Town Center will be open year round!

Thanks to the amazing support from the Community, we decided to go for a STRETCH GOAL for $14,000.  We have surpassed our goal of $7,000 and are at $7, 728 with 11 days left to go.  Please continue spreading the word.  We would love to reach our goal of at least 100 donors.  We had many donors at the Anderson On Tap Event and will tallying those soon.  Thank you again for all of your support!

Hello everyone.  We are excited to be moving right along.  As you can see from the photos above, we have a new entrance.  Lots of natural light for painting and it opens completely to let the outside in.  We also made a fun discovery of an original window hiding behind some wood and paint.  Second floor windows are coming in the end of May for a completely upgraded look to the Diamond Building.  Stay tuned in the next few weeks for an IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT and upcoming event to get our DOORS open VERY SOON!!!! Stay tuned on MAY 15 for that announcement to come.  We will update with more photos soon.

We are busy.  We can always use help with painting and moving things from one place to another.  If you are ever interested in volunteering, let us know!

We had a small sneak peek during Winterfest.  We are excited with our progress.  The next few weeks of winter include a new Garage Door for Indoor/Outdoor storefront space on the North Entrance, new flooring, brick work and most importantly....RESTROOMS!!!  We will have upgrades with our Plumbing, Heating/Air, Electricity for the entire buiding including A Town soon.  Things are happening DOWNTOWN.  So much is planned DOWNTOWN this Spring.  The momentum is contagious. Our working day went really well.  We had a few volunteers that kicked butt and got a lot finished.  We are anxiously awaiting new electric/HVAC and plumbing.  This is great, but unfortunately, we will be at the mercy of Contractors from this point on.  With that being said.  You will soon notice a little change to the storefront.  We will be installing a nice OPEN, LARGE entrance in place of the broken/boarded area-AKA current chalkboard.  We LOVE the community engagement that comes along with the Board "Before I Die I Will...", but unfortunately, it will have to come down to create an entrance.  We will be moving a similar engagement board on the inside once we open.  Keep following us and stay tuned to what is to come....

Hello!  We just wanted to update you on the progress.  Things are moving along.  We have great support in our community.  Check out our support page to see our AMAZING patrons.  At this point we are still accepting space for Artists In Residence and as always, you can be a PATRON of the ARTS by connecting with us on the SUPPORT page.  Every little bit helps us become closer to being up and running.  With an old building comes a lot of passion and work.  We are dedicated and through your support are making the place Occupant Accessible.  We really appreciate all of the help and the wonderful visitors.  July and August will be full steam ahead as we prepare to open!!!  Come check out our COMMUNITY CHALK BOARD and share your dreams with us.
