BECOME AN A TOWN ALLY

    Sign up to Be a Volunteer

    To sign up, include your name, email and one of our board members will follow up with next steps, which will include reading, agreeing to, and signing a non-discrimination policy form, as well as getting a criminal history check.
Submit
Qualifications:
• Must interact with visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in noisy, crowded conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read, agree, and sign the A Town Center Non-discrimination Policy before volunteering.
• (For Children’s Programming) Must be willing to have a criminal history check or be a current employee at a local school system.

Preferences:
Volunteers must have good communication skills; experience with customer service and an interest in art is desired.

Training:
Training will be conducted on a rolling basis.

​First Friday Host
• Help manage visitor traffic flow and greet visitors throughout gallery.
• Provide visitors with general information about A Town Center.
• Assist visitor engagement with interactive art installations (as needed).
• Other related duties as assigned.

Art Class Host
• Help with set up of class prior to attendees’ arrival.
• Provide attendees with general information about A Town Center.
• Assist instructor with distribution of supplies and cleanup.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Cleaning and Preparation for Events/Classes
• Help with set up of tables, chairs, and other items as needed.

• Clean public areas including bathroom.
• Clean and organize kitchen area (as needed).
• Other related duties as assigned.


Other Limited Opportunities:
• Board Member (separate application).
• Fundraising/Events Committee Members.
• Art/Craft Fair Booth Attendant.
