Poetry Night's host, David Allen, is no stranger to the written word. He worked as a journalist for 36 years, writing in Virginia, Indiana and as far as Guam and Okinawa, Japan. He has three published books of poetry, and is currently the vice president of the Poetry Society of Indiana.
