Jack May

Known affectionately as the artistic jack of all media, K. Jack May creates art with his hands, head, and heart.
Primarily a self-taught artist, May enjoys creating watercolors, acrylics, stone and wood carvings, photo displays, and metal sculptures. He has even taken his work under water, competing in, and winning, pumpkin carving contests through his local scuba diving club.
May has a passion for travel, and the places he has visited have influenced his artwork. He has been to every state in the U.S. and vacationed in Australia, Italy, England, Scotland, Mexico, Barbados, and the Dominican Republic.
A Madison County resident since 1972, May’s work has been displayed at the Anderson Museum of Art and Gordy’s Fine Art and Framing in Muncie.
